Fees and Payments

Sometimes all we need is a little bit of flexibility. I offer a range of options so choose what suits you best and let's get started! Broadly, I schedule 15-minute free sessions and 1 or 2 hour long sessions from Monday to Friday with all sessions ending at or by 2.30pm. Fees

Important Update: Rate and Fee Adjustments (Effective July 1, 2025)

Dear students and families,

Thank you for your ongoing trust and support of Perth IELTS and PTE Tutoring (PIAPT). Since its establishment, PIAPT has proudly maintained the same hourly rates and in-person fees, prioritising accessible, high-quality education for all learners.

However, due to rising operational costs and inflation, a modest adjustment to our rates will take effect from July 1, 2025. These changes have been carefully considered to ensure rates remain affordable, with no increase exceeding 15% of the original price.

Here is the updated pricing structure:

• 1 x 1-hour session: AUD $48
  
  

• 5 x 1-hour sessions: AUD $225 (AUD $45/hour)
  
  

• 8 x 1-hour sessions: AUD $344 (AUD $43/hour)
  
  

• PTE Academic Crash Course (Single 2-hour session): AUD $120
  
  

• IELTS Essay Marking: AUD $30 (any 3 Task 1 or Task 2 essays)
  
  

• Group Tutorials: AUD $115 per group, per hour (min. 3, max. 5 students)
  
  

• In-person session fee (face-to-face): AUD $12
  (This fee is doubled for travel exceeding 20km or 25 minutes)
  
  

• In-person group session fee: AUD $43
  
  

Please note:
These new rates apply only to new and incoming students. If you are a current or returning student, you will continue to enjoy the original pricing as a gesture of appreciation for your loyalty.

The aspect that's most important in this equation is YOU. From our first hour or even our first 15-minute session, you will know if I'm the right tutor for you. There is no obligation for you to continue on learning with me if you feel my methods do not suit/ you have gained sufficient insight into the tests/ I am not able to offer you suitable hours due to scheduling. Payments

There are a few different ways you can pay for my services, the most common and simplest forms are via bank transfer EFT or PayPal. Payment is to be made once an invoice has been issued (to be sent to an email address that you have provided) and preferably before our sessions commence. Would you prefer to pay in person when we meet? Cash, bank transfer (confirmation sent through) or PayPal (I will present you with a QR code to scan for payment) are all accepted.   

Cancellations

I totally understand that life happens and you may need to cancel/reschedule. Cancellations of more than 48 hours (2 days) before the scheduled time will incur $0 (no fees). Cancellations within 48 hours will incur a AUD$15 fee (your prepaid hour will be refunded minus the $15). Rescheduling is totally fine and incurs no fees but as my availability is finite and precious, the earlier you reschedule, the better so other students have an opportunity to take that time slot.  

You will receive an invoice and payment options via email (that you have provided) once you have booked a session with me.
