Fees and Payments

Sometimes all we need is a little bit of flexibility. I offer a range of options so choose what suits you best and let's get started! Broadly, I schedule 15-minute free sessions and 1 or 2 hour long sessions on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with all sessions ending at or by 2.30pm. More hours and days will be available in 2024. Fees

In general, my hourly rate is AUD $45 per hour. This includes all material and work that I send you ahead of our scheduled session. That said, the hourly rate decreases with the number of lessons you book with me. You can book 5 or 8 hours with me in advance or you can keep it flexible by choosing your lesson dates and times as you go. These two options (5 or 8 hours paid for in advance) may suit those who have booked their IELTS/PTE exams already and have a specific date they need to be ready by. Not sure how much help you actually need? No worries, just book single hours with me to begin with. 

• 1 x 1 hour session = AUD $45

• 5 x 1 hour sessions = AUD $215 (AUD $43/hour)

• 8 x 1 hour session = AUD $320 (AUD $40/hour)

• Single 2 hour PTE Academic Crash Course = AUD $110 (includes my guidebook)

• In person (face-to-face) additional fee for travel (added to each session held in person): AUD $8

• Don't need a tutoring session but want someone to mark your essays? Marking with feedback: IELTS essays (General Training and Academic Task 1/ Task 2 essays). Essay marking with feedback for test takers requires anywhere between 12-15 minutes per essay. Single essays: $8 per Task 1 essay, $10 per Task 2 essay or if you're submitting quite a few essays at a time, $20 for any three essays. 

• Group tutorials: AUD $100 per group per hour *additional fees for in-person group tutes of AUD $40. **Students can choose to be invoiced individually and pay separately or if paying as a group, one single invoice will be issued to the group representative. The aspect that's most important in this equation is YOU. From our first hour or even our first 15-minute session, you will know if I'm the right tutor for you. There is no obligation for you to continue on learning with me if you feel my methods do not suit/ you have gained sufficient insight into the tests/ I am not able to offer you suitable hours due to scheduling. Payments

There are a few different ways you can pay for my services, the most common and simplest forms are via bank transfer EFT or PayPal. Payment is to be made once an invoice has been issued (to be sent to an email address that you have provided) and preferably before our sessions commence. Would you prefer to pay in person when we meet? Cash, bank transfer (confirmation sent through) or PayPal (I will present you with a QR code to scan for payment) are all accepted.   

Cancellations

I totally understand that life happens and you may need to cancel/reschedule. Cancellations of more than 48 hours (2 days) before the scheduled time will incur $0 (no fees). Cancellations within 48 hours will incur a AUD$15 fee (your prepaid hour will be refunded minus the $15). Rescheduling is totally fine and incurs no fees but as my availability is finite and precious, the earlier you reschedule, the better so other students have an opportunity to take that time slot.  

You will receive an invoice and payment options via email (that you have provided) once you have booked a session with me.
