IELTS Writing Band descriptors update!
The IELTS Writing Band Descriptors were recently updated (May 2023) and while there are a few notable changes, it has remained pretty much the same. Personally, I find the latest update to be really helpful they have added a few more "objective" criteria and notes, which makes marking students' writing easier. Please note that teachers and tutors cannot award band scores but they certainly can guide test takers using these band descriptors.
